Diary Post #3: This Summer

Overall, I had an interesting summer. I didnt really do much, but it was still interesting. I met some new people who are worth having long relationships. I've gotten a more appreciation for music. I love music more than anything. Its one of the few things that make me happy; that and my family. I also grew more as a person. I matured. Learning how to handle situations better. I've done alot of thinking about life, and how I want to life it. Matter fact I think I've gotten smarter.
But the highlight of my summer has been Twitter. See what people have to say is interesting. And that's where I met alot of people. People on Twitter are so friendly. Now summer is over, and its time to go back to school. I am more determined than ever. I have to end my high school career on a good note.
I hope next summer will be better.

Its ashame that we live in a world where its shocking when someone says that they are a virgin. There is nothing wrong with being a virgin. Not everybody is sex crazed. I know from experience that you get viewed differently when you admit you're a virgin. I told a girl I was a virgin and it was like I told her I was gay. As soon I said that, it seems as if I wasnt attractive to her anymore. I get mad when I get asked that question. Cause I know I'm gonna be judged and viewed differently. I'm not in a rush to have sex. My time will come when I will be ready for sex. But untill that time #TeamVirgin.

I know all of you tuned in at 11 o'clock to watch the "Power" video. Or what Kanye calls it, a "moving painting" smh. I thought he going to drop an actual video, but it turns out it was a clip. Well at least I hope it was a clip. I was sooooo mad when it ended. Cause I was expecting an actual video. I mean you got a primetime tv spot on MTV, and you show million of viewers a clip?? The fuck. But on a brighter note, I thought the "clip" was dope. I just wish it was longer. Well here is the "clip" if you missed it.

More About Nothing

It's finally here!!!! After several leaks of tracks, the new mixtape from Wale is finally here. I was so pressed when it was 11:00 cause it was getting closer for the tape to drop. But when it was 12, the time the tape was suppose to drop, there was no link on the website, Rap Radar. So, ten minutes later, there was a link. But the link didnt work. So he had to send it again. This time it worked, but it took the LONGEST time to download. So then there other links and finally people were able to download at a good pace. But I'm currently listening to it, so I can't rate it lls. But so far its sounds like a classic. The collabo with Wiz is crack. So download this classic.

I just finished listening to the whole album. Its a pretty dope album. Every song is good. Production was good. I was shocked when I saw that Wiz Khalifa wasn't on a single song on this album. But Curren$y still had some features. From artist such as: Mos Def, Snoop Dogg, Jay Electria, and Mikey Rocks. Now that this album is out, I'm ready for How Fly 2.

The Return of Folarin!!!

I know I'm late with this post, but I still wanna post it anyway. Wale said, via Twitter, that he is dropping a new mixtape called "More About Nothing". I've been waiting for a new mixtape from Mr. Folarin ever since he dropped Break Up Song. This mixtape is expected to drop on August 3rd. Now all we need is another album.

Diary Post #1: Role Models

This is something new I'm gonna do. This will help me get somethings off my chest. So here is the first post:

Everyone needs someone to look up to. I think everyone need a role model. I mean, when people ask me who are my role models, I tell Pac, Barack, and Ye. But I think everyone needs a role model who isnt a celeb. Someone who can give them advice when needed. I'm sure everybody has somebody in their life who they can depend on. I wish I did. I wish I had someone who I can look up to and learn from. Like I wish I had an older brother who I can tell me the right way to approch girls, and how to handle relationships. I mean I have a God brother, who I guess I can consider an older brother, but the only time I see him is when he comes to visit my God sisters, who live with me and are his biological sisters. But I guess I'll find a role model eventually.

1st Pick??

John Wall is likely favorite to go No. 1 to the Washington Wizards. I'm a big Wizards fan, there my hometeam. I have no problem with John Wall, but I think it will be better if we draft Evan Turner No. 1. Since Ernie said we keeping Gilbert (I highly disagree with that decision) John Wall and Gilbert will not work as a good back court. One, Gilbert is a PG, and so is Wall. Two, both of these players need the ball to be productive. And third Gilbert is not going to be willing to give up the role a franchise player because we they draft Wall. We should only draft Wall if we get rid of Gilbert, but since thats not going to happen, we should get Evan Turner. I mean c'mon, he plays three positions, and he is the next Brandon Roy, enough said. Pick Turner!!!

I appeciate this album. It was a pretty good album. Thank God he stopped using that annoying accent. That accent made me less of a fan of his music. My favorite song has to be "Won't Back Down". That beat is crazy!! But anyways, go ahead and buy this album.

Some Father's Day For Lamar Odom

This is too funny. Just after winning back-to-back NBA Championships, Lamar Odom finally has the free time to sprend with his kids; and what a way to start with spending time on Father's Day. Well if you notice, Lamar Odom's son is wearing a number 24 Laker's jersey. If you pay attention to Laker basketball, you would know that Lamar wears number 7, and Kobe wears 24. LMAOOO!!! To me, this is a big "F***k you, I like Kobe better than your sorry a*s" moment.

Where the hell is "Lasers" at Lupe??

So, many Lupe fans, such as myself, would like to know where the hell is his new album, "Lasers", dropping. I was so excited when he dropped "Enemy of the State" and even more excited when he dropped "I'm Beamin'". He dropped that single a good 3 months ago, it's time for the album to drop now. I'm pretty sure that it'll be good as always.
